3 Ingredient Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Y’all know my fur kids are everything to me! After years of buying Milk Bone Dog Biscuits I decided they deserve something better! They love these!

It only takes 3 ingredients!

Be sure the peanut butter does not contain Xylitol as that is poisonous to the pup.

You can add apples or cranberries to the batter for a change up.

Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Dog Treats

After years of buying Milk Bone Dog Biscuits I decided they deserve something better! They love these! IMPORTANT Be sure to use peanut butter without xylitol in it!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Add oats to a food processor and grind until they reach fine powder
  • Add in pumpkin and peanut butter and blend until a sticky dough is formed
  • Remove from the processor and roll out on a lightly floured surface. (Use whole wheat flour, more ground oats or other flour you have on hand.) Cut out cookies using a cookie cutter or cut into squares with a knife.
  • Lay treats on prepared cookie sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the treats are dry and hard. Let them cool before giving them to your pup and then store in an air tight container.
    They should keep at least a week at room temperature, 2 weeks in the fridge or you can freeze them.
