Homemade Lemon Bath Salts

With Mother’s Day coming and warmer weather, this is a great idea for gift giving.

If you used smaller jars, this would be a great party favor for any baby or wedding showers.

This post talks about making Lemon Bath Salts, however, you can create other scents with oils you already have.

You can find the lemon essential oil at your local health food store or online (I get mine from Vitamin Shoppe). So easy, inexpensive and cute too!

Materials:

  • Mason Jar with lid
  • Epson Salt
  • Lemon Essential oil
  • Yellow cupcake liner or piece of fabric
  • Twine or ribbon
  • Free printable (see below)
  • Mini scoop (optional)

Directions:

  1. Pour epsom salt into the mason jar, leaving 1/2 inch of room at the top with the lid on.
  2. Pour 10-15 drops of lemon essential oil into the jar, place the lid on and shake to mix.
  3. Place a yellow cupcake liner or fabric under the rim of the lid and screw onto the jar, as shown in the photo.
  4. Print out the FREE tags and attach to the jar using twine or string. Gift to a friend!
